Disclosure

The short version

I write everything here myself. I’m not paid to recommend anything, and as of today there are no affiliate links on this site. If that ever changes, you’ll see it said plainly at the top of the post — not buried down here.

Advertising

This site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Ads are served automatically by Google based on page content and, where permitted, your browsing history. I don’t choose the individual ads that appear, and an ad appearing here is not an endorsement. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work and how to opt out of personalized ads.

Affiliate and referral links

An affiliate link pays a small commission if you buy through it. A referral link gives me a credit or reward if you sign up through it. Either one is money, so either one gets disclosed.

When a post contains an affiliate or referral link, a disclosure will appear at the top of that post, above the first link, so you know before you click, not after.

When I link to a product without a disclosure, it is a plain link and I earn nothing from it.

I am currently a participant in the following affiliate programs:

Rakuten

Sephora

CJ Affiliate

BetterHelp

Amazon Services LLC Associates Program

Sponsorships, gifts, and free products

I don’t currently accept sponsored posts or gifted products. If I ever do, that post will be labeled clearly at the top as sponsored or gifted, every time, whether or not money changed hands. A free product is a material connection just like cash, and it gets disclosed the same way.

Not professional advice

Everything on this site is my personal experience and opinion, shared for general information and encouragement. It is not financial, investment, medical, mental health, legal, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for working with a qualified professional who knows your situation.

That matters most in a few places:

  • Money and business. I’m not a financial advisor, accountant, or attorney. What worked for my situation may be wrong for yours. Talk to a licensed professional before making decisions about your money, your taxes, or your business structure.
  • Health and mental health. I’m not a doctor, therapist, or licensed counselor. Nothing here diagnoses, treats, or replaces professional care. If you’re struggling, please reach out to a qualified provider.
  • Beauty and wellness. Skin, hair, and bodies differ. Patch-test products, read labels, and check with a professional if you have a condition, an allergy, or a concern.

If you are in crisis, please contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services.

Results aren’t guaranteed

When I write about what worked for me — building a business, changing a habit, a routine that stuck — I’m describing my own results, not promising yours. There’s no guarantee you’ll get the same outcome, and nothing here should be read as a projection of income or results.

Views are my own

Everything published here is written in my personal capacity. It does not represent the views, positions, or policies of my employer or of any organization I’m affiliated with.

Links to other sites

This site links to other websites I find useful. I don’t control them and I’m not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Once you leave this site, their terms and privacy policy apply, not mine.

Accuracy

I work to keep everything here accurate and current, but things change — prices, products, laws, and platforms especially. I make no warranty that everything on this site is complete or up to date, and I’m not liable for decisions made in reliance on it.
